The Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services is now accepting applications for the Partners in Prevention Fund Capacity Building Program. Awardees will receive funding, training, and technical assistance to implement prevention programs for children, youth, and families in the community.

Proposals are due on Friday, Feb. 19 by 2 p.m. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-proposal informational meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m.; the meeting will be held via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86381705031 , passcode 294804Hv%@. Any type of youth-serving organization is eligible. Community-based organizations, houses of worship and other faith-based organizations, healthcare providers, housing property management organizations, and others are all encouraged to apply.

Applicants can choose to implement any or all of the available programs, which include substance abuse prevention, child abuse and neglect prevention, teen dating abuse prevention, and teen sexual health curriculums.
