Give Thanks: Join NCS for Thanksgiving Events at Our Community Centers

This Thanksgiving, join the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services for special events at our community centers located throughout Fairfax County. Mark your calendars for these Thanksgiving meals and other events taking place in November:

  • Thanksgiving FeastAnnual Thanksgiving Potluck at Hollin Hall Senior Center in Alexandria, November 16 at noon. Seating is limited; sign up at senior center. $5 suggested donation. Please bring a canned good or other non-perishable item to help area food banks.

  • Senior Thanksgiving Luncheon at Providence Community Center in Fairfax, November 16 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Family Thanksgiving Meal at Providence Community Center in Fairfax, November 16 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy a meal and games.

  • Thanksgiving Celebration at Herndon Senior Center in Herndon, November 17 at 10 a.m. Enjoy a meal and watch in-house performers. Pimmit Hills Senior Center in Falls Church will be offering transportation to this event for a $1 fee.

  • Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Gum Springs Community Center in Alexandria, November 17 at time TBD. Call or visit center for more details. 

  • Thanksgiving Community Dinner at James Lee Community Center in Falls Church, November 17, 5-7 p.m.

  • Family Thanksgiving Meal at Lorton Community Center in Lorton, November 17 from 6-8 p.m. Join us for food, games and more.

  • Thanksgiving Dessert Celebration at Mott Community Center (Senior Program) in Fairfax, November 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. Celebrate the variety of desserts commonly served at Thanksgiving and partake in a simple craft.

  • Holiday Celebration at Bailey’s Senior Center in Falls Church, November 18 from noon-2 p.m.

  • Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Reston Teen Center in Reston, November 22 from 4-6 p.m.

  • Thanksgiving Event at Bailey’s Community Center in Falls Church, date and time TBD. Thanksgiving food will be provided for families to take home and cook.

  • Thanksgiving Feast at South County Teen Center in Alexandria, date and time TBD.
