This Halloween, join the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services for special events at our community centers located throughout Fairfax County. Mark your calendars for these spook-tacular events taking place at the end of October:
- Trunk or Treat at Hybla Valley Community Center, October 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Fairfax County Police Department and community partners will decorate trunks and give away candy.
- Halloween Party at Reston Teen Center in Reston, October 27, from 4-6 p.m. Music, games and special treats will be provided.
- October Halloween/Birthday Party Celebration at Pimmit Hills Senior Center in Falls Church, October 27 and 28 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Join us in a Halloween costume and help celebrate participants’ birthdays that are in October.
- Costume Party at Mott Community Center in Fairfax, October 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy dancing, glow-in the-dark crafts, festive treats and raffle prizes at this family-friendly costume party.
- Trunk or Treat at Bailey’s Community Center in Falls Church, October 28 from 3:30-6 p.m. Costumes optional; candy and treats provided.
- Trunk or Treat at James Lee Community Center in Falls Church, October 28 from 4-6 p.m. Costumes optional; candy and treats provided.
- Community Day and Haunted House at Providence Community Center in Fairfax, October 29 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Join us for music, games, pumpkin painting, face painting, raffle, cake walk, food and more. Wear your best costume to win a prize.
- Monster Mash Costume Party at Hollin Hall Senior Center in Alexandria, October 31 at 1 p.m. Costumes preferred but not required. Enjoy dancing, food and a holiday play reading from our very own Theatre Group! Sign-up is required.
- Hallo Teen at South County Teen Center in Alexandria, October 31, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be haunting, spooky and sweet musical surprises.
- Safe Night Out at Gum Springs Community Center in Alexandria, October 31 at 6:30 p.m.
