Mixed Delivery Program for Families

Virginia Early Childhood Foundation (VECF) Mixed Delivery is a state-funded program that provides full-day, year-round early childhood care and education services for eligible infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at low cost to qualifying families.

Ready Region Capital Area (RRCA) includes City of Alexandria, City of Fairfax, City of Falls Church, Arlington County, and Fairfax County.

Family and child must be a resident of Virginia and meet at least one of the following criteria to qualify for Mixed Delivery:

Child’s family has an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Child’s family is experiencing homelessness.
Child’s parent(s) or guardian(s) did not complete high school.
Child has identified disability or needs special education.
Other regional eligibility criterion may apply, such as teen parent, parent with a diagnosed disability, deceased parent, incarcerated parent, foster care, kinship care, abuse, trauma, or CPS involvement.
