Fairfax County’s Sully District Neighborhood College, a free seven-session civic engagement program, is now open for registration. Sponsored by Sully District Supervisor Kathy Smith, this unique program is open to Sully District residents interested in learning about Fairfax County and the Sully District.

Through lectures, group discussions and practical experiences, participants will explore how to work with neighbors, community organizations and local government to strengthen neighborhoods and build community capacity. This is an excellent leadership program for residents who serve as officers on their homeowner’s or civic association’s board.

Classes will be held virtually on consecutive Thursday evenings, 7-8:30 p.m., from March 11 to April 29, 2021 via Zoom (no session on April 1).

For more information and to register, visit http://bit.ly/SullyNeighborhoodCollege . Registration must be received by Monday, March 1.

Residents can use Fairfax County’s MyNeighborhood page to confirm in which magisterial district they reside.

For questions and to request language or ADA accommodations, contact Amber-Lee Leslie, Sully District Office, at 703-814-7100 or amber-lee.leslie@fairfaxcounty.gov .
