Thank you to the 115 students who entered the 2018 Fairfax Parks Poetry Contest, presented by the Fairfax County Park Authority and the Fairfax County Park Foundation. This year’s contest invited students in grades K-8 to “Celebrate the Senses” by writing a poem inspired by what they see, touch, smell, hear and taste in Fairfax parks. Check out all of the entries and be sure to join us on April 21, 2018 (10:30 a.m.) at Sully Historic Site where you can hear the winning entries in our SpringFest Poetry Showcase!
