All outgoing copies, printed or digital, made by staff in the Historic Records Center are assessed a copy fee.
Photographing or hand scanning court records is not permitted.
Certified copies cost an additional $2.00 per document. (VA Code §17.1-275)
The Clerk’s Office accepts cash, certified check, money order, or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.
Certified checks or money orders should be made out to “Clerk of Circuit Court.”
Please note: A 4% convenience fee is included in all credit card transactions. (VA Code §19.2-353.3). We do not accept American Express.
