Fairfax Circuit Court Historic Records Center announces a new temporary exhibit, The Backbone of the Court: The Clerk’s Office.
Residents of Fairfax can now access Clerk services at a satellite location on the second Tuesday of the month. Services include civil filings for existing/open cases, marriage licenses, certified copies, and free notary service. For more information, please see the event listing below.
We are accepting documents not requiring a fee for existing/open civil cases. The documents will be stamped and brought back for review by the Civil Division.
If you would like a file-stamped copy of the document, please bring the original, along with two copies of the document, to the satellite office.
You can pre-apply for a marriage license online by visiting https://ccr.fairfaxcounty.gov/mlweb/default.aspx.

Satellite service will be provided on the second Tuesday of each month, from 9:30AM to 12:30PM, at the Cathy Hudgins Community Center (2125 Pinecrest Rd, Reston, VA 20191).
There is no need to make an appointment. We will provide services on a first-come, first-served basis.
