Health Permits for Food Establishments: Annual Renewals

Most Permits to Operate a Food Service Establishments in Fairfax expire on December 31 of each year. Prior to the end of the calendar year, Fairfax County Health Department emails reminders to permit holders, advising them to renew their existing permits. To avoid operating without a valid permit, the annual permit must be renewed by December 31. Renewal applications initiated after December 31 are subject to late fees.

PLUS is our online portal that allows you to apply for permits, track the status of your application, renew your permit, update information, upload documents, pay fees, and request inspections.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so that you can access your record information and renew online.
