Pennino Building Closure
The Pennino Building is closed until further notice due to repairs following an equipment failure. Community members should NOT attempt to visit the Pennino Building. There will be no interruption of services during the closure. Assistance is available in person at an alternate location, by phone and online. For more information, visit NCS Programs and Services.
Other NCS Facility Closures
- Little River Glen Senior Center will be closed March 2, 2026 – July 2026 due to renovations at the center. Find where programs will move during the closure period.
- The Kingstowne Center for Active Adults will be closed April 4 - 12, 2026. Programming will resume on April 13, 2026, at its new location at the new Franconia District Government Center, 7130 Silver Lake Boulevard, Alexandria, VA 22315.
- The NCS and FCPA gyms at the Sully Community Center will be closed April 6 – April 20, 2026, due to floor maintenance. All gym programs will be cancelled during this time. For additional information, contact the Sully Community Center at 703-322-4475, TTY 711.
