School's out for winter break! Spaces are still available in Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services' winter camp programs. Register TODAY for elementary or teen winter camps which offer enriching experiences for children during Fairfax County Public Schools’ Winter Break.
The theme of this year’s NCS Winter Camps is The Flipside: Stories Retold. Children will let their imaginations run wild as they explore stories from a variety of genres and develop new twists to classic tales. Through the art of storytelling, children will learn the many different components that come together to make a good story such as the setting, character and plot development, and conflict and resolution. Children may enroll in one or both sessions.
- Session 1: Monday, Dec. 18 – Thursday, Dec. 21, four-day program (Closed Dec. 22)
- Session 2: Tuesday, Dec. 26 - Friday, Dec. 29, four-day program (Closed Dec. 25)
