School Age Program Fees

  • Fees are based on the adjusted household income.
  • A sliding fee scale is provided for income eligible families. Employment is not required for School Age Child Care (SACC) or Beyond the Bell program eligibility.
  • Eligible deductions, such as medical bills and additional child care or elder care expenses, may reduce fees.*
  • A discount is applicable for families with two or more children enrolled.
  • Services are billed one month in advance. The total cost of the school year program is billed in 10 equal monthly installments from Aug. through May.
  • Monthly payments are the same each month regardless of the number of days of service or what month a child begins service.
  • Additional fees are assessed for the Winter, Spring and Summer Programs.
  • A $45 annual fee is applied. Adjustments made for income eligible families.

Cancellation Reminder: Please note, 2 weeks’ advance notice is required to cancel service and to avoid being responsible for payment. Cancellations may be made by calling 703-449-8989, TTY 711 or by emailing SACC Registration. Please include your name, account number, your child’s name, center name, and session(s) to be cancelled.

Families may be eligible for reduced fees for services. Complete and submit the Sliding Fee Application (pdf) to see if your family is eligible. Be sure to also submit any additional financial information that may apply and provide any required supporting documentation to the SACC Registration. SACC and Beyond the Bell services will be assessed at full fee until all necessary financial paperwork has been received and reviewed.
