Evidence-Based Prevention Programs

Evidence-based programs have been shown through rigorous evaluation to be successful at achieving results if the program is implemented as intended. Many have a specific curriculum available for free or purchase, and some require training.

Depending on your resources and what you are trying to achieve, you may want to run an evidence-based program. Below is a list of websites that maintain listings of evidence-based programs.

For additional resources on implementing programs and other evidence-based strategies, please view the Community Guide Toolbox , part of the Guide to Community Preventive Services.
