County offices are typically open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To find the specific operating status of a location, program or select department, please check the lists below.

As part of a normal schedule, the county is closed on specific holidays.

Information and many services are available online at any time.

Fairfax County Government will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 4, in recognition of Election Day. Most facilities will be closed, however polling locations and all Office of Elections activities will be open. Residents may vote at their polling place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
