During the SACC school year program, SACC offers a snack in the afternoon. On Teacher Workdays and during SACC's full-day winter, spring and summer programs, both a morning and an afternoon snack are offered. Snacks are provided through FCPS Food and Nutrition Services and meet United States Department of Agriculture guidelines.

Canned Fruits must be portioned into 3/4 cup serving to meet SACC nutrition
guidelines. Managers will use 8 oz portion cups with lids.
Canned Fruits must be chilled before serving. This applies to the following:

Chilled Mandarin Oranges, Chilled Peaches & Chilled Pineapple

Peach Yogurt may be served if Cherry Vanilla or
Strawberry Banana flavors are not available


Bread and pasta serviced by FCPS is NOT Gluten Free.

Menus are subject to change due to availability of foods and emergency school closing.

CACFP Non-pricing Child and Adult Day Care Centers

Fairfax County School Age Child Care announces the sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

The same meals (snack and summer lunch), will be available at no separate charge to all participants at each CACFP facility without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or age reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or Local) where they applied for benefits. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339. Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a complaint complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online or at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
