On April 11, 2023, the Board of Supervisors (Board) authorized site-specific Plan Amendment SSPA 2023-II-3F for Tax Map Parcel 69-4 ((1)) 6A2, located at 9350 Braddock Road in the Braddock Supervisor District. The Plan amendment authorization considered residential use for up to 8 dwelling units, and was listed as a Tier 3, deferred item to allow time for the applicant to do additional outreach with the neighborhood. On August 26, 2025, the Board re-authorized the consideration of a Plan amendment as a Tier 2 item as follows:
“Consideration of a Plan Amendment for Tax Map Parcel 69-4 ((1)) 6A2 for residential use at up to 2-3 dwelling units per acre. Specific considerations should include affordable housing, tree preservation, usable open space, and other factors to achieve compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood.”
