The Capital Improvement Program Committee was constituted. Commissioner Timothy Sargeant was elected Chairman and Commissioner Niedzielski-Eichner was elected Vice Chairman.

Meeting  Agenda

The Committee held a joint meeting with the School Board. At the start of meeting, the Department of Management and Budget staff gave a presentation on the background and recommendations for the joint meeting. Both the Committee and the School Board, along with staff, discussed opportunities for future collaboration and ideas for following the One Fairfax initiative. Topics included colocation, joint space usage between county agencies and schools, schedules for school renovations, available space for repurposing, and workforce housing on school sites.
