Solid Waste Collection Brokers

 

Trash and Recycling Notice:

Mordor Road Gate Permanent Closure | Fairfax County Solid Waste Management Program Launches Request for Expressions of Interest to Shape the Future of Waste, Recycling, and Zero Waste Innovation

Chapter 109.1 of the County Code requires that solid waste brokers wishing to do business in Fairfax County be registered with the Solid Waste Management Program. Any business or individual who knowingly contracts with a solid waste broker that is not registered with the County is in violation of County Code.


Permitted Brokers

Solid waste brokers must register annually to conduct business in the county. Below are the required forms for initial registration and subsequent annual renewals. In addition, is the required form to provide the broker’s client to the county. A list of registered brokers can be found at the below link. Please note in the below “Related Resources” the link for Chapter 109.1 of the county code as it provides the legal requirements for brokers.”
