Adult Day Health Care Centers are open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Participant Families, Get a Free Week

Help us spread the word about Adult Day Health Care, and get a free week. Participant families who refer a new participant are eligible for a free week of service. Just call or email your center for more information. (The fine print: you are credited the free week after the new participant completes 30 days.)

Closing and Inclement Weather

If Fairfax County Government offices are closed, the centers also will be closed. When Fairfax County public schools are delayed or closed, the centers' hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Announcements are made on local television and radio stations and cable channel 16. If a participant arrives at a center before at least two staff members are there, he or she will not be able to enter the center per our licensing regulations. During inclement weather, please call the center to make sure staff is available to receive clients. 

Fastran will not provide transportation if Fairfax County schools are closed or have a delayed opening. If schools will be closing early Fastran will pick up early at the centers.

If the centers will be closing early due to poor weather conditions, staff will contact the emergency number on file for a participant.
