NCS Camps

The Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) offers a variety of youth and teen camps during Fairfax County Public School's winter, spring and summer breaks. Programs are offered at public schools and community centers throughout Fairfax County. All programs offer reduced fees for eligible families.

Camp Fairfax

NCS offers camp for students in grades Kindergarten - sixth grade during Fairfax County Public Schools winter and spring breaks. The Camp Fairfax summer program welcomes rising 1st through 7th graders for weekly summer camps. Camp Fairfax programs are offered at select public schools and community centers across the county.

Teens In Action

When Fairfax County Public Schools are closed for the spring, summer and winter breaks, Teens in Action offers an engaging, healthy and affordable recreation program for youth ages 12 to 18 to learn, play and serve.

Value in Prevention (VIP) Camp

Register rising middle schoolers for a summer of fun and leisure at Value in Prevention (VIP) Camp! Campers will have a great time participating in sports, games, fitness, art, and STEM activities in a safe environment. Offered in the entire month of July, participants must be a rising seventh or eighth grader attending Fairfax County Public Schools and a resident of Fairfax County.

Therapeutic Recreation offers affordable camp experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, physical disabilities, emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and/or attention deficit disorders. Located in Falls Church, Culmore Summer Soccer Camp invites youth ages 6 to 16 to develop their skills at this free summer camp.

Sully Summer Sports Camps

Sully Community Center has partnered with the Fairfax County Park Authority to offer affordable summer sports camps to income-eligible households. Camps are open to children ages 5-12 of all abilities. Transportation options available.

4-H Camp

Fairfax County’s overnight 4-H camp is held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal. Va., for campers ages 9-13; high schoolers may also become counselors. The five-day, four-night camp is offered for one week in July.
