Grind Days

We are firing up the 1811 mill to make fresh grain, stone-ground on site. Come see the 20-foot waterwheel turn the gears to power the equipment and grind grain you can take home and bake with.

After you explore the mill, spend some time in the Miller’s House then visit the General Store where you can buy milled flours, grits and cornmeal.

The 200-year-old Colvin Run Mill will be operating from noon to 3 p.m., weather dependent, on April 16; and May 7, 21. Check back later to register for Grind Days on June 4, 16; Aug. 6, 20; Sept. 17; and Oct. 1, 15.

The cost is $10 per person and participants may arrive any time after noon.
