Visitation at JDC - Coronavirus Update
Due to the increasing level of community transmission of COVID-19, the Juvenile Detention Center is suspending in-person parental visitation. This is being done out of concern for the children in our program and the safety of our staff. Residents will continue to be able to call home and we will work with parents and youth to facilitate virtual visitation upon request.
At this time we will continue to offer in-person professional visitation for attorneys, probation officers, and other professional case workers but encourage all to limit in-person visits only to those deemed absolutely necessary to conduct in-person. These appointments will continue to be by appointment only.
