The Volunteer Interpreter Program (VIP) assists staff working with individuals for whom English is a barrier.  This helps court staff provide appropriate services to clients and visitors in a timely manner. VIP currently provides Spanish language interpretation and some other languages are available upon request.  

• interpretation services are available at all units and facilities 
• face-to-face interpretations are available as well as telephone interpretation
• courtroom interpretation service is limited to civil status hearings, protective order hearings, and criminal advisement hearings
