The Research & Development Unit encompasses research and evaluation, as well as grant and program development support.  The Unit Director and three full-time Research Analysts: 

• collect, compile, and distribute workload and client trend data
• provide information to support budget development
• collect agency performance measure data and evaluate services
• conduct research on juvenile justice issues
• identify funding opportunities
• write grant proposals and evaluate the results of grant-funded activities
• conduct research on successful program and service strategies
• provide expertise to other court workers on data analysis, programming, and service issues
