Announcements

Yard Waste Delays

Beginning September 22, 2021, Fairfax County will begin servicing yard waste along with the regular trash collection. This is a temporary change in response to the delays as a result of labor shortages. Please continue to place your yard waste out at the curb in compostable paper yard bags or rigid containers dedicated to yard waste. This temporary change will be reassessed in October 2021.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Special Pickup Service Update

Effective July 1, 2021, free special pickups will be limited to 2 cubic yards of Freon, brush, bulky waste, electronic waste, and metal. There will be a charge to remove piles greater than 2 cubic yards. Visit Special Pickup for service details.
