Self-Care: 10 Simple Ways to Treat Yourself

You’ve heard it before: It’s the little things. When it comes to self-care, it is indeed the little things that can bring you bliss.

Better still, these 10 simple treat-yourself tricks don’t cost a thing because luxury shouldn’t have to require loot.

  2. Turn your shower into a sanctuary with candles, aromatherapy products, soft lighting, a plush bathrobe and a skin-smoothing scrub.
  3. Take a mental health day and pamper yourself.
  4. Throw fresh sheets on your bed.
  5. Pick wildflowers and make a table centerpiece.
  6. Watch the sunset.
  7. Linger over coffee or tea on Sunday morning.
  8. Lose yourself in a good book.
  9. Turn up your favorite song and dance.
  10. Take a nap.
