Mount Vernon Rec Center is officially back and better than ever! Celebrate the new, fully reopened facility alongside Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay, Supervisor Dan Storck of the Mount Vernon District, Park Authority staff and your community at this grand reopening event. Join us to explore and enjoy this brand-new facility for FREE.

  • 10:20-10:30 a.m.: West Potomac High School Cheer Team Performance
  • 10:30-11:25 a.m.: Drop-In Fitness Class Demo: Warrior Rhythm (Fitness Center Room 1 and 2)
  • 10:45 a.m.-2 p.m.: Yard Games
  • 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Washington Nationals Mascot Meet and Greet
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:25 p.m.: Drop-In Fitness Class Demo: Pilates Reformer (Fitness Center Room 4)
  • 12:15-1:25 p.m.: Skating Exhibition (Ice Arena’s Blue Rink)
  • 1-2 p.m.: Water Exercise Class Demonstration
