Riverbend Park on the Potomac River is a rare combination of geology, plant life, wildlife, isolation and beauty. Interns conduct field studies, inventory species, assist in camp programs, work with children, learn education and classroom management skills and support natural resource management as well as environmental and outdoor educators. Activities may include programming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking. Riverbend internships are excellent opportunities for someone with an interest in outdoor, environmental or non-traditional educational activities, wildlife, botany and outdoor activities.
