The Friends of Lake Accotink Park (FLAP) promotes active and passive recreation opportunities and cultural and natural stewardship resources of Lake Accotink Park.
FLAP Mission:
- Protect, restore and preserve the natural, historical and cultural resources of Lake Accotink Park;
- Promote educational and recreational opportunities;
- Encourage interpretive, educational and cultural programs;
- Promote the community use of the park facilities; and
- Foster respect for the park.
