The 2019-2020 SSPA process focused on proposals in the southern portion of the County, consisting of the Franconia, Mason, and Mount Vernon Supervisor Districts. In each district, the proposals, called “nominations,” were submitted during an open submission period in fall 2019, and district-wide Community Task Forces were established to review and provide recommendations on which nominations should be studied further and added to the Comprehensive Plan Work Program. The County’s Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors have reviewed these recommendations and approved the following 11 Plan Amendments for study on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Work Program.
