Fee Proposals Available and Public Comment Accepted

The Fairfax County Park Authority held its annual public comment meeting on the agency’s proposed fee adjustments. The public is invited to share their perspectives on the proposals with the Park Authority Board either in the meeting, via correspondence or by email.

ANNOUNCEMENT

A Public Comment Meeting on the Proposed Fee Schedule was held electronically on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 5 p.m. 

Written comments will be accepted until Thursday, February 4, 2021. See below for details.

Information outlining all proposed fee changes is available for review. 

A public comment period begins January 6, 2021. Mail and email comments must be received no later than Thursday, February 4, 2021 to ensure adequate time for review by decision-makers. Residents can attend the meeting electronically and speak or forward their comments.

The public comment meeting agenda includes a brief presentation on the fee process followed by an opportunity for public comment. If you wish to sign up to speak in advance, please contact the Public Information Office at 703-324-8662. You need not register in advance to speak. Individuals may speak for three minutes and organizations will be allotted five minutes. Each organization may have one five-minute speaker.
