FCPA receives award

We’ve been recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy with a Better Project Award for our innovative energy savings performance contract (ESPC) at Franconia Recreation Center. This major upgrade modernized HVAC, boilers, pool systems, advanced controls and the building envelope into one high‑performing, efficient system.

The results are impressive: more than 360,000 kWh in guaranteed annual energy savings and about 20% annual cost savings, all while improving comfort, air quality and reliability for our visitors. Thank you to #TeamFCPA and our partners for helping us earn this award. We’re proud to be leading the way in energy efficiency and sustainability in Fairfax County!
