Back by popular demand, camp registration will be split between two dates for Team Green and Team Blue based on camp location for your ease once again.

2026 Spring and Summer Camp Registration Start Dates:

Tuesday, February 3 at 9 a.m. and Thursday, February 5 at 9 a.m.

Visit our Camp Registration Hub to start preparing this weekend.

Also, mark your calendars for 2026 Spring Class Registration starting on Tuesday, February 24 at 9 a.m.
 

Upcoming Public Meetings/Events

In honor of Black History Month, the Frying Pan Baptist Meetinghouse will be open from noon-2 p.m. Come learn about the role of the Meetinghouse and the community that was built there. The event is free.

There will be an in person meeting of the Park Authority Board, in the room 106/107 of the Herrity Building, 12055 Government Center Parkway on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. 

Get ready for an unforgettable night under the stars as Twin Lakes Golf Course comes alive with Lunar New Year festivities!

Lunar New Year Celebration
Celebrate Lunar New Year with an evening of traditional music and dance, hands-on cultural activities, and Asian-inspired cuisine on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf Course. 
Observatory Park at Turner Farm
The Fairfax County Park Authority is pleased to announce that Observatory Park at Turner Farm has been designated an International Dark Sky Urban Night Sky Place by DarkSky International. The designation recognizes the park’s commitment to protecting the night sky through responsible outdoor lighting, community partnerships and public education.
