Collect your cosmic power in preparation for the 2026 Healthy Strides Heroes vs. Villains 5K/10K! Whether you gravitate towards the light side or dark side, assemble your squad to conquer this race at Burke Lake Park on May 2, 2026.
Register by January 1 for a $5 early registration discount — use the code 26HSPARKS.
Run, walk or roll in the 5K (3.1 miles) or to run in the competitive 10K (6.2 miles). The 5K course follows a tree-lined, paved road through the park and is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Runners who want to step up to the challenge can participate in the 10K the leads through a 6.2 mile wooded trail that circles the lake. Participants in the 10K must be able to maintain faster than a 17-minute mile and complete the course by 9:30 a.m.
The event also features a Tots Dash for ages 2 to 5 and a Kids Dash for ages 6 to 10 — short runs to the finish line for children of the 5K/10K participants.
IMPORTANT: All dash participants and spectators must wait until the completion of the 5K/10K before leaving Burke Lake Park. We welcome you to enjoy the playground or cheer for the other runners!

All finishers earn a commemorative medal. Everyone who participates will receive a branded Healthy Strides technical racing tee. At packet pickup, registrants will receive a branded Healthy Strides reusable grocery tote.
