This fall, select bunkers at Greendale Golf Course and Burke Lake Golf Center will be rebuilt using the Better Billy Bunker construction system. These improvements will enhance playing conditions, improve drainage, reduce washouts after heavy rain and create a cleaner, more consistent appearance across both courses. Golfers can also expect longer lasting sand and an overall improved experience on the course.
Construction started on Sept. 9 at Greendale and will start Oct. 19 at Burke Lake. Both courses will still be open and playable with special discounts, but golfers can expect minor changes to the golf routes and some construction noise and equipment around the work areas.
