Alert:
The Alexandria A Cappella Collective (AACC), founded by the Alexandria Harmonizers, is an umbrella arts organization that has served Alexandria and the greater D.C. area for more than seven decades. As part of its mission to reach a broader range of singers and audiences, AACC continues to develop new ensembles. This performance features two groups: The Harmonizers and Metro Voices. Led by artistic director Joe Cerutti, The Harmonizers are a globally recognized men’s a cappella chorus with 19 international medals, including four gold championships. The 100-plus member TTBB ensemble has earned major honors, including the 2018 Greater D.C. Area Choral Excellence “Ovation” Award, and has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wolf Trap, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the White House, as well as internationally, most recently in Ireland in 2025. Founded in 2023 and led by director Samantha Tramack, Metro Voices is an SSAA chorus of more than 30 singers that quickly earned national recognition as champions of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 2024 International Chorus Festival. The ensemble also qualified for the 2026 International Convention chorus competition in St. Louis and toured Ireland with the Harmonizers in 2025.
