The Soul Shakers is a collection of six musicians from various local bands in Central Virginia. The group plays a mix of classic R&B, Southern Soul and Motown and cover a wide range of artists such as Delbert McClinton, Van Morrison, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, The Tams, Bill Deal and the Rondells, Jr Walker and the Allstars, Stevie Wonder, Sam and Dave, and many more. The emphasis is always on fun, dancing, and a trip back to simpler times.
