Children Receiving Public Assistance
Parents/Guardians can register each dependent (under the age of 18) who receives public assistance (listed below) to receive a scholarship for one coded class per quarter. FCPA must receive a verification letter from the organization providing assistance that includes eligibility dates and the name of the dependent who will receive the scholarship.

- Free Lunch Fairfax County Public Schools
- SNAP (food stamps)
- TANF
- WIC
- Head Start
- FAMIS
Adults with Disabilities and Senior Adults
Adults with disabilities and senior adults who certify that their income is below the guidelines listed below also are eligible for a scholarship of one class per quarter. For each additional person, add $5,800 to determine maximum annual income for eligibility.

- $28,300/family of three
- $34,100/family of four
- $39,900/family of five
- $45,700/family of six
Apply for a Scholarship
- Submit the online verification form below or complete a registration form and include a copy of your verification by mail or fax.
- Once your request has been approved, you will receive notification that you may then register for a class.
- When registration for the season opens, customers may sign up for the class online, over the phone, by fax/mail, or in person. A $15 processing fee is only charged when successfully signing up for a class.
Please note:
- Scholarship requests cannot be processed over the phone.
- Submission of your verification does not automatically enroll you in a program.
- Entry into a class is not guaranteed. Classes must have open space at the time of registration.
- Not all classes are eligible for scholarships (scholarships cannot be used for camps, workshops, trips/tours, programs by private vendors, TRX or Pilates Allegro lessons).

Processing Fee
There is a $15 processing fee for each scholarship class that is refundable only if Fairfax County cancels the program. Scholarships are NOT eligible for the $8 registration discount.
No scholarships are offered for camps, workshops, Day Trips and Tours, programs offered by private vendors, TRX or Pilates Allegro lessons. Supply fees must be paid by student.
