Alert:
Donate fresh produce to neighbors in need! Purchase extra produce at one of the FCPA Farmers Markets and drop it off at the Market Information tent. Donations then go to local food pantries for distribution. Only market-bought fresh produce and is accepted. The program will be held on the last market day of the month at all Fairfax County Park Authority Markets. The next donation week will be Friday, July 25 - Thursday, July 31, 2025.
This global, month-long initiative encourages everyone to reduce plastic use and choose reusable alternatives. Here in Fairfax County, we’re challenging residents to make simple swaps—starting at the Farmers Markets!
All 10 of our market locations are now plastic bag-free, but we’re not completely single-use bag-free...yet. Help us reach our goal by bringing your own shopping bags and reusable produce bags each time you visit.
Stop by the Market Information tent to pick up a free reusable bag and a “No Thanks, I Don’t Need a Bag” pin to show off your sustainable style!
The Fairfax County Park Authority Farmers Markets are seeking musicians to perform at the farmers markets from April to December. Music helps create a fun and relaxing atmosphere at the market for customers, vendors, and volunteers. Musicians and groups are welcome to apply to perform at the Fairfax County Park Authority Farmers Markets.
