Introducing Electronic Forms for Camps!

Fairfax County Park Authority is proud to announce our adoption of ePACT Network, a secure emergency network that we will use to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically. Starting in November, those who register for camps will receive an email with a link to fill out required forms electronically. Not only will ePACT replace paper forms, but it will also ensure we have a way to communicate with you in the event of an unexpected situation.

Get Active with Winter Camps

When school is out for student holidays, cultural observances or teacher workdays, Park Authority camps are just getting started. Enjoy these action-packed, single- and multi-day camp sessions to keep the festivities going this winter:

  • Dec. 22-26 (no camp Dec. 24-25)
  • Dec. 29-Jan. 2 (no camp Jan. 1)
  • Jan. 19
  • Jan. 29-30
  • Feb. 16-17

Fun at Fall Camps!

When school’s out, Fairfax County Park Authority camps are ON!

  • Monday, Oct.20
  • Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 3-4
  • Tuesday, Nov. 11

There’s many opportunities to learn new skills while meeting friends and making memories. Join in everything from cooking and building to sports to science and chess to performing arts, music and crafts.

When public school closes for student holidays/cultural observances, Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) hosts camps. The length of the camp depends on the school closure timing and the camp content; it can be anything from a single-day or two-day session to a full week! With camps for all ages and abilities, we invite you to build new skills, meet new friends and make new memories during seasonal and summer camps.

Tip: When looking for camps during the school year, choose the "Camps School Year" category.

Already registered for camp, here are your next steps.

  1. Parent Handbook: Please download and read this resource.
  2. NEW! Electronic Forms: Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) introduces electronic forms for camps. All forms for the winter season (and moving forward) must be submitted electronically. Learn more about our electronic forms below
  3. Access and Inclusion: FCPA welcomes campers of all abilities, backgrounds and experiences. Please let us know if your child has any emotional or behavioral challenges as well as any intellectual or physical disabilities.
    • UPDATE: Please outline your specific needs in our new Electronic Form system, ePACT. If the request is less than 10 days before the start date, FCPA will attempt to provide services; however, we cannot guarantee your accommodation request will be fulfilled. If you have additional questions, please contact fcpaaccess@fairfaxcounty.gov.
  4. Licensed Camps: Check to see if your camp is licensed: Some camps are licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services that require additional paperwork such as immunization record and proof of child’s identity.

Forms, Refunds and Transfers

Fairfax County Park Authority is proud to announce our adoption of ePACT Network for better safety! ePACT is a secure emergency network, that we will use to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically. Not only will ePACT replace paper forms (including the Code of Conduct; Emergency Information and Agreement; Pick Up Authorization; and Medical Authorization Forms), but it will also ensure we have a way to communicate with you in the event of an unexpected situation.

Please note: You must first register for camp and then you will receive an email with a link to fill out forms electronically. Learn more about ePACT in the FAQs below.

Why are you using ePACT?

  • To save you time – With ePACT, you only need to complete your child’s information once. We can use that same record for other programs or in subsequent years
  • Improved privacy and security – Eliminating paper forms ensures that your information is safe and secure. ePACT maintains the same levels of security as online banking, and limits access only to the administrators we assign for enhanced privacy.
  • Better support – ePACT makes it easy for you to share comprehensive health and emergency contact details, so we can provide the best support to your child. You also can update this anytime and we will automatically receive those new details.
  • Timely communication – Families have the ability to add in verified home and cell phone numbers as well as additional preferred emails. With these added communication types families will receive updated communications from programs via text, phone calls, and emails regarding inclement weather updates, program closures, etc.

How does it work?

All forms are specific to the program so if you are enrolled in different program types, you may be prompted to complete different forms.
