Linway Terrace Park Synthetic Turf Conversion Project

In collaboration with the Dranesville District Supervisor’s Office, the Park Authority will hold a virtual information meeting for members of the community to provide a brief presentation on the scope of the proposal followed by a facilitated question and answer period. The meeting is for informational purposes only, the decision to approve will not be undertaken at this meeting. The virtual meeting is set for Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at 7 p.m. Members of the public may join the meeting using the following link.
The Park Authority has received a proposal from McLean Little League to fund the conversion of the grass baseball diamond at Linway Terrace Park to synthetic turf. The 10.7-acre park is utilized by local youth sports leagues and residents. Amenities include a synthetic turf soccer field, a grass baseball diamond, multiple tennis and basketball courts, and a playground.
