The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, connects citizens in need to fresh, local foods. We offer a matching dollar program up to $20 as incentive to shoppers. We currently have SNAP programs at our McCutcheon/Mount Vernon, Reston, Lorton and Herndon locations. Volunteers run the SNAP booths where customers run their EBT cards to redeem tokens to spend at market. The program is collaboration between Fairfax County, Arcadia, Cornerstones, and Herndon-Reston FISH.
