Party Delights:
Embark on a 45-minute journey led by a naturalist, featuring a live animal encounter, creative crafts, and a guided nature walk. Themes can be tailored to your child's passions, making every moment uniquely special.
Party Times:
From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the naturalist session starting at 10:15 a.m. Families can set up food and decorations in the classroom from 9:30 a.m. The exhibit discovery room is open from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for partygoers. Other time slots may be available later in the day.
Refreshments:
Families provide refreshments, and only designated tables can be used for food and drinks. Supervision and cleanup are the party host's responsibility.
Reservation Steps:
- Check availability by emailing kim.young@fairfaxcounty.gov or calling 703-941-1065.
- Upon acceptance, complete the party agreement form and submit it with the full fee. Cancellations made more than two weeks from the party date receive full refunds minus a nonrefundable $25 administrative fee. No refunds are made for cancellations within two weeks from the party date. Staff will review the program outline with you upon request.
- Arrive at Hidden Oaks by 9:30 a.m. with your party supplies and food. No red colored beverages or alcohol is permitted.
- While decorations aren't necessary, feel free to bring some including table coverings. No balloons, please.
