David has been a lifelong golfer and has been a certified golf instructor for twenty years. He played golf for Clarkson University as well as his high school golf team. David been a youth volunteer coach for the Alexandria City High School and Cape Henlopen High School. David has also written a book on golf, "Two Minute Golf Lessons," which is awaiting publication. He believes in teaching the fundamentals of golf and that anyone can become a good golfer. David was originally from upstate New York and has been a resident of Northern Virginia forty years.

Hernan is a certified golf professional with 10 years of experience. He was born and educated in the Philippines and holds a degree in engineering. Hernan specializes in swing mechanics and fixes, trackman, short game (putting, chipping, pitching and bunker shots), long game (long irons, hybrids, fairway woods and driver), and course lesson (course management, strategies, shot selection and club selection). Hernan believes that sound golf fundamentals and correct practice are keys to success.

Tim has been playing golf for over 40 years while completing a successful career in the Air Force and both the Executive and Legislative Branches of the Federal Government. Although he recently became certified as golf instructor, Tim brings an extensive amount of experience in sports coaching and instruction. He was the Director of Diamond Sports (baseball) at the St. James in Springfield, VA. In his instruction, he covers all aspects of the sport; from fundamental techniques and the mental approach to course management, his goal is to help golfers find an increased level of skill and performance regardless of their golfing knowledge and experience. Tim focuses on working with youth and adults to help them reach their full potential technically and physically, while ensuring that they don’t lose sight of the fun in the sport.

He retired from Xerox in 2010 after a 43-year career and brings experience in teaching and mentoring adults and youth. Bill thoroughly enjoys the game of golf and loves sharing his knowledge and love of the game with his students. He believes that golf is an art rather than a science and that once you learn the basic techniques you will have a lifetime of enjoyment mastering the game. Annalee is a SNAG instructor, teaching group classes to 5- to 7-year-old beginner golfers. She also offers private and group lessons to new golfers of all ages. Her classes follow the concept that for a student to be productive and learn, a teacher must provide a fun and enjoyable experience. Annalee has enjoyed the game of golf for over 20 years. She's the President of the Pinecrest Women's Golf Association. Her background includes a career as a Registered Nurse and teacher.

Ms. Lisa Mijares brings more than 15 years’ experience practicing yoga and five years as a certified yoga instructor to Pinecrest Golf Course. All Lisa’s life she has been active with biking, hiking, walking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and golf. Lisa brings a depth of experience as a practitioner and instructor teaching Hatha, Restorative, Yin, and Vinyasa Flow yoga. Ms. Mijares specializes in teaching flexibility, strength, movement, balance, breath, and agility that is critical for any beginner or experienced golfer. She holds her E-RYT 200+ hour certification with Yoga Alliance.

Connie became a golfer when she moved near the Pinecrest Golf Course. She combined her love of fitness and wellness with her love for the game and began teaching Yoga for Golfers classes at the course. Already a certified personal trainer, Connie is certified for golf fitness through Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). She has been certified by TPI at level 2 for both fitness and golf. She teaches Golf Skills and Drills at Pinecrest and performs TPI assessments to help identify physical capabilities or limitations that affect the golf swing.
