Pro Shop Maintenance/Miniature Golf Attendant
Salary: $12.00 per hour
Location: 7900 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042
Hours: 15 to 35 hours/week. Weekends and some holiday work is required. Hours may be affected by weather and time of year.
Pro Shop Maintenance: Works alongside a manager on duty to close the pro shop at the end of the day. Aspects of the job include restocking, washing the power carts, cleaning the grill, doing the dishes, sweep/mop/vacuum the pro shop and bathrooms.
Miniature Golf: Works as the attendant to check-in players. In the opening shift you will be required to set up the course. The closing shift requires breaking down the course, cleaning the bathrooms, and straightening up the pavilion.
Minimum requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Necessary Special Requirements:

Salary: $14.00/per hour
Location: 7900 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042
Hours: 20-40 hours/week. Weekends and some holiday work is required. Hours may be affected by weather and time of year.
Duties: Manages the tee sheet and POS system. Will be required to learn the snack bar menu and how to make each item. Assists in booking tee times, tennis courts, and birthday party reservations over the phone and in person. This position provides an opportunity for the incumbent to learn the day-to-day operation of Jefferson Golf Center and provides a potential opportunity for advancement to a manager on duty position.
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma
- Experience in customer service-related jobs
- Basic knowledge of computers and POS systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work as early as 7:30am and as late as 9:30pm
Preferred Certificates and Licenses: A college degree (Associates or Bachelors). First Aid and CPR/AED certification and food manager license.

Manager on Duty
Position Title: Manager on Duty
Location: Jefferson District Park and Golf Course; 7900 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
Hours: Hours vary depending on the season. Hours include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour.
Overview: Manager on duty with a variety of responsibilities to include opening and/or closing facility; conduct-ing register close-out at end-of-day; and assisting customers in all aspects of golf course operation, including the pro shop and food and beverage department.
Duties Include:
- Acts as manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Assists in managing the golf course tee sheet and point of sale system.
- Assists in the food and beverage department by cooking food orders for customers.
- Responsible for closing cash registers and completing nightly closing paperwork as the closing manager and opening the clubhouse facility and preparing it for the day’s business as the opening manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must be able to work on your feet for an extended period.
- Must be able to work as early as 5:00am and as late as 9:30pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Golf experience preferred.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- This position will be required to obtain a food manager license soon after employment begins.
Note: This position is required to work a minimum of 1,040 hours per year but not to exceed 1,560 hours. Hours per week vary by season and business needs and can include up to 40 hours/week. Individuals in this position are eligible for benefits.
