Share the Fairways with the Fam! August is Family Golf Month at Golf Fairfax

Grab the kids and hit the greens — Family Golf Month is back at Golf Fairfax!  

This August, kids and teens (17 & under) play FREE with a paying adult. Bring the laughs, share the high-fives, and let’s play together — because family time is better on the fairway!  

Offer valid:

  • Monday–Friday: All day
  • Weekends: After 1 p.m.

*Limit one free child per paying adult.

The Fairfax County Park Authority’s Burke Lake and Oakmont Golf Centers are proud to partner with Youth on Course and the Virginia State Golf Association to provide juniors ages 6-18 with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.

35% Off Regular Greens Fees Holidays Excluded

  • Burke Lake, Greendale, Jefferson, Oakmont, Pinecrest and Twin Lakes (Weekdays)
  • Laurel Hill (Daily after 12 p.m.)

*Minimum age for course play at Greendale is 6, and for Laurel Hill and Twin Lakes is 8.

Enhance golf skills and learn putting, chipping, irons and woods play as well as course etiquette and safety best practices, with classes for all levels.

Learn from certified golf instructors. Clubs not required.

Oakmont also offers classes through Everybody Golf School.

Starting New at Golf Classes (SNAG)

Course covers basic golf elements in a modified form for kids 5-8 years old. Children have fun using larger and colorful clubs to increase confidence and coordination. All equipment is provided. Tennis shoes are recommended.
