Notes:

*Effective May 1, 2026, a 9% Fairfax County transient occupancy tax will be added to all campsite and camping fees.
Weekend/Holiday rates apply Friday–Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day (2-night minimum stay required on holidays).
Dump station use is complimentary for registered campers.
Large group site fees include the first 20 people; additional guests are charged per person.

Cancellations or changes made more than 60 days before arrival can be made without charge by calling the park office.
Cancellations or changes made 14 to 59 days before arrival will incur a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations or changes made 3 to 13 days before arrival will result in the loss of the first night's stay and a $25 processing fee, deducted from any remaining balance.
Cancellations or changes made two days or less before arrival will result in the loss of first and second nights’ stay, if applicable, and a $25 processing fee, deducted from any remaining balance.

Tent and Group camping is open April 1-November 30 only. Tent camping is prohibited during off-season.

Pursuant to Virginia Code § 10.1-1142, camp fires are prohibited between 12 a.m. - 4 p.m. from February 1 through April 30.
No outside firewood is permitted to be used or stored on FCPA property. Only wood bought at FCPA campgrounds is permitted to be used or stored on FCPA property

Our campground is a non-residential campground and has maximum stay restrictions. These restrictions include:
- A maximum of 14 consecutive nights (April 1 to November 30 or "In Season").
- A maximum of 28 consecutive nights (December 1 to March 31 or “Off Season”).
- Four (4) nights off-site required between visits.

Metrorail is the quick and easy way to get to the attractions in D.C., suburban Maryland and Alexandria.
From Lake Fairfax Park, the closest metro stop is the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station
