TOURS

Sully Historic Site Restoration

Restoration and repair work is underway at the historic buildings at Sully Historic Site. The site is still open, but visitors cannot enter the historic buildings during this work. Tours are still offered at their normal times, but they do not go inside the buildings. For the most up‑to‑date information, please call 703-437-1794.

Restoration Work at Sully Historic Site

Sully’s historic buildings were constructed between 1794 and 1801.

For over 200 years, people living and working in these structures built their own lives, Fairfax County and the nation. Sully’s mission is to preserve and share their stories today and into the future. The current work is crucial to that preservation and sharing.

This work was made possible in part by a grant from the Virginia250 Preservation Fund, administered by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, and support from the Sully Foundation, the Fairfax County Park Foundation and the Fairfax County Park Authority.
