Conditions Governing Use of Facilities
PAYMENT & RESERVATION:
Payment may be made in cash, check, or credit card.
Providence Rec Center reserves the right to charge renters for damage to the facility or FCPA property incurred during use.
DECORATIONS:
It is the renter's responsibility to keep all guests off Rec Center equipment for the duration of the rental (including, but not limited to, stereo, mats, gymnastics equipment, etc.).
Open flame (with the exception of birthday candles) is not permitted.
Alcohol is not permitted.
Silly string, glitter, and confetti are not permitted.
Inform rental coordinators and/or site manager before using decorations.
RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES & GUIDELINES:
Rentals will be approved only for adults 18 or older.
The designated rental representative is liable for all damage and/or injuries to persons or property resulting from inadequate supervision or carelessness on the part of the user. Damage to the facility will result in forfeit of rental and renter is responsible for associated costs. All damages and/or injuries must be immediately reported to the Manager on Duty.
It is prohibited to use FCPA facilities for commercial enterprises, private profit, solicitation, fundraising, or instructional classes/trainings.
Rec Center staff are not permitted to hold or store any personal items.
The Renter will be allowed 15 minutes prior to and after the rental time for set up and take down.
The Renter, all guests, and personal items must vacate the room within 15 minutes of the rental time's end.
The Renter will be charged $25 if the room is not vacated on time.
The Renter is responsible for maintaining a proper Adult/Child ratio while in the pool:
Children under 6 years old ratio 1:1
Children over 6 years old ratio 1:6
Maximum room capacities must be adhered to.
Staff will set out tables and chairs in the format requested. Renters may rearrange tables and chairs if they wish.
In the event of an unexpected closure, the Manager on Duty will accommodate parties to the best of their ability. If accommodation is not available on the day of your rental, the rental coordinator will contact the Renter the following week to discuss arrangements.
Some club rooms may contain athletic/recreation equipment. This equipment will not be removed, and it is the responsibility of the Renter to keep their guests away from the equipment. (Club Room 1 equipment may be removed for $100 fee).
Failure to comply with FCPA rules or the direction of staff may result in immediate cancellation of the rental and loss of the rental fee.
CANCELLATIONS:
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made 14+ days in advance of the rental date.
50% refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 in advance of the rental date.
All rental requests are subject to cancellation by FCPA.
