Oakmont Golf Center Rules

Park Authority employees and authorized volunteer staff have been trained and are obligated to enforce these rules and regulations. Failure to abide by these rules may also result in violators being ejected from the park immediately and prohibited from future use of park property, facilities or services.

For the pleasure and safety of all our visitors, please be advised of Oakmont Golf Center rules and policies

  1. No children under the age of 12 are allowed upstairs on the range without adult supervision.

  2. No smoking allowed in the covered sections of the range.

  3. No one is permitted to go on the grass in front of the range mats except for Fridays and Saturdays (weather permitting and in season) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and only in the area marked for grass tees.

  4. Each person playing a round of golf must have their own bag and set of clubs.

  5. Range balls must be used the same day they are dispensed. Balls and their containers may not be removed from the park site.

  6. Formal golf instruction may only be provided by employees of the Every Body Golf School, including while playing.

  7. USGA rules govern all play, except where modified by local rules.

  8. No children under the age of 5 are permitted on the golf course. Children ages 5-11 must be accompanied by an adult.

  9. You must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license to rent and drive a power golf cart. 

  10. A maximum of four players are permitted in a group. Our starter reserves the right to combine groups or individuals into playing foursomes at their discretion.

  11. Pace of play - 2 hours (a hole should take 10-13 minutes to play). (Eliminate honors - institute continuous play. Do not waste time between shots - proceed directly to your ball and be ready to play.)

  12. Play only one ball onto the green (NO PRACTICING).

  13. Out of Bounds - all white stakes and fence lines along Holes 2, 3, 4 & 5.

  14. Golfers are responsible and liable for any injuries or property damage that result from golf balls they hit. All incidents should be reported to the pro shop staff immediately.

  15. No pets of any kind, except service dogs assisting individuals with disabilities or those working with park staff, are permitted on the golf courses, golf practice facilities and golf driving ranges.

  16. Walking, jogging, bicycling or other non-golf activities are not permitted on the golf course at any time.

  17. In the event of an electrical storm the driving range and golf course will be closed immediately.

  18. Beer, wine, & seltzer are available for sale in the golf shop.  Only alcohol purchased from Oakmont Golf Center may be consumed on the property. Alcohol is not allowed in the parking lots.
