Lake Accotink is a Fairfax County Government organization. Employees at these parks are employed by Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) and are held to the highest standard of performance. The FCPA was awarded the 2010 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management from the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration
